NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026 — The Next Frontier

About this event

NASA's annual international hackathon runs over the weekend of November 14–15 under the theme "The Next Frontier". Teams use open data from NASA and 17 partner space agencies to build solutions to real problems in Earth and space science, then submit a project before the Sunday deadline for local and then global judging. Participants register on the official site and either join one of 450+ local events worldwide or take part through the virtual Universal Event. It is open to anyone — developers, scientists, designers, storytellers, students and educators — and no prior space expertise is required.
